I know, I'm a day late, right?  First there was the turkey, then the dinner guests, then the turkey coma...

I loved it all and I have so much to be thankful for.

I did bring out the big guns for Thanksgiving dinner; the china hadn't seen use in way too long, the formal dining room welcomed the company.  Thanks to Jacques Flowers, I had a magnificent fresh floral  arrangement to make my beautiful table complete.

Dinner, well, it's hard to be modest when everything turned out perfectly. What can I say? After 50 (plus or minus, but who is counting) turkey dinners with all the trimmings, one would hope you could cook it well. There is always the unknown, the turkey that for whatever reason was tough, or had no drippings for gravy. But this year-perfection. Yum!  I do love the old fashioned traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

I have had a few inquiries.....

Are you ready?????

Yes, it's back.....

After 41 years of going back and forth, the Thanksgiving card my sister gave me in 1970 found it's way back to my house. It's as much of a tradition as the turkey and stuffing!
