It's Like Buttah

The other day I had the opportunity to fly Delta from Chicago to Minneapolis. What a flight!

The sun was shining through my window and warmed my shoulder.  I felt like a kitten curling up for a nap.

But instead, I read a book I had downloaded on my new iPad.  Pretty cool!  So, you can see, it was absolute bliss.

But, wait, there's more...

The plane cut through the sky so smoothly, it was like a knife gliding along an edge of softened butter. I've flown quite a bit and never have I had  such a smooth flight. It must have been a combination of good weather, no crazy wind patterns to casue turbulance and a great pilot.  Ahhh, so relaxing. I thought I was floating...truly I had that sensation.  It was delightful.

I decided I had to stop reading and soak in this precious moment. Feel the warm sun soaking into my chilled body, embrace that floating feeling and listen to the purr of the engines taking me (toward) home.

When I really concentrated on soaking it all in was this.

Yup, this guy was snoring SO loud! It was like in a split second he was going to swallow his tongue. You've heard it, that "chk, chk, chk, (gasp) snort, chk, chk".  I'm sorry, but I had to laugh.  And I had to take this picture.  Evidently he felt the ride pretty relaxing as well.
I admit, I'm easily amused.
