Winter Wonderland

Isn't this a picture postcard? The frost on the trees here in the Frozen Tundra couldn't have been more beautiful this morning. The sun shone on them and sparkled like a gazillion diamonds

And baby, it was frickin' freezing!

I am preparing to bid adieu to my family and friends with a little pout on my face. You see, I don't know when I'll be able to return. I love being close to family; I miss them terribly when they're so many states away.

However, I also long for my glorious Arizona with the golden sunshine and warm days that make your bones feel good. I can't wait to see my flowers in bloom, the hummingbirds busy at work in my garden and the smell of the fresh cut grass in my lawn. I can't wait to ride my bike around my neighborhood and greet my neighbors to find out about their holidays. And,maybe, yes....yes, I think I am ready to get back into the daily routine of life, after a whirlwind, around the world month long vacay!

Today's the day.....My heart is happy!
