The Final Word on Chicago

I love pictures.  The memories of a trip linger forever and the pictures bring it all back to life.   Here are the final fun times of Chicago, December, 2010. We are in my favorite brunch spot in Chicago, RL, the Ralph Lauren restaurant. Love this photo of my big sis and myself, my sis is the one who made it all happen.

We were being very dignified that day. Thanks to Rosie and Cathleen who made the weekend even more special.

Isn't this a fun photo of Wesley and Hayley with the roses in the foreground? If you're a parent of adult children, you know how very special getting together with them is. It was terrific that it worked out that these two could make it in for the weekend!

Wesley greeted AJ and myself with a Chicago brewski when we stopped at his place.

Of course, we had to get some famous Chicago pizza! Our favorite stop is Pizano's on State. To finish the all out gluttony, they presented me with a "cookie", a buttery, delicious chocolate chip cookie, with about an inch of ice cream "frosting", whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Oh my, don't forget the candle, that wipes out any calories...NOT!

Now, in no way, shape or form do I want this guy to be the next mayor of Chicago, but I had to move my chair so he could sit down with his cronies. Never one to miss a photo op....(oh the things I do for you blog readers!)

Wesley kept me entertained with his fashion show down Michigan Avenue. Do you like these Ralph Lauren hats?  They can be yours if you want to drop over $200 each.

So, thanks everyone. And as Frank says, "Chicago is my kind of town!"

I would have been very jealous, had you said anything about also patronizing Glenn's...and please don't tell me you did, it would tottally ruin my Christmas! Also, I would like to say that I REALLY want that (non furry) hat John is wearing...not for $200 but...just sayin'
