Deer Hunting Season

Back in the frozen Tundra where I grew up, it's deer hunting season. Deer hunting in Minnesota is sacred. This is as important as some national holidays.  Kids get out of school, businesses close early and the hunt begins.

When I received this photo, I laughed out loud.  You see, this young lady, the one on the right, was my sons' first babysitter. She is a petite, demure, soft-spoken Mommy of two now.

It's obviously a staged photo, do you know why?

Everyone who hunts knows you don't hunt deer with a pistol!
You go Sarah Palin Meg!
