Grandma would say,  "Patience is a virtue". I took that to mean it is virtuous or more holy, if you will, if you are patient.  Nowadays everyone is impatient. Are we all buying into the ADHD philosophy? We want what we want when we want it and how we want it and then we move on to the next thing we are impatient about. Or as the Easterners would say, We want things "In a New York Minute."

Life isn't that way. Sometimes having patience will yield better results with the least amount of angst. We all need to learn to be more patient. Grandma would sit back and tell the story of the little girl who was in the garden and saw a cocoon.  She was so excited to see the butterfly she couldn't help herself.  She carefully cut open the end of the cocoon so the butterfly could free itself sooner. Unfortunately the butterfly emerged with deformed wings and couldn't fly.

And the moral of the story is......
