Girl Time

When I invited my friends to Hilton Head, it was agreed upon that we should each have a theme day.  Oh
boy, this could get interesting.

Diana started it out big, with "By The Sea".  What a great job she did! She made CD's with beach songs, gave us goodie bags with beach products and much more.  The funniest thing was a picture board of old photos of me with the beach somewhere in them.

The calendar was priceless. Each month has the most perfect saying!

The next day was "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend"
There were beach towels with diamonds...

Flip flops with diamonds...

And a beach bag of goodies including a flashing diamond ring for everyone!
Liz outdid us with "Forever Young" making a CD of 60's tunes and providing us the fashions and accessories for one heck of a show after a few glasses of wine!

This is definitely blackmail material!

Rachel, bless her heart, was so preoccupied by family matters, we weren't sure if she had a good time at all.  But good sport that she was, got in on the theme day by several hilarious gifts for us. Her Waffle House rendition of waffle mix was perfect, including directions to only bake it until tan in color and limp, with specifics on advising to not drop it on the floor. A marvelous CD was cut for us citing all the pertinent songs including "Let's Go Fly a Kite".
Did you know Rachel sewed a suit for her hubby? That was fodder for an entire evening! I am not talking about a 70's leisure suit, I am talking about a real honest-to-goodness suit with a fly and bound button holes, the whole nine yards. I'll try to get a photo of it for you.
