Patio Face Lift

It's spring!  That means more time outdoors.  I am not sure if it's a change in lifestyle or if I was just tired of my old patio set, but it was definitely time for a face lift on the back patio.

I scoured outdoor furniture, what would last, what would be most suited to our lifestyle, what would outlast the elements, what would fit into my budget? I came up with this.

It is actually very comfortable and inviting. I spent yesterday sealing the wood.  Now that was a job!  It took several hours, but I did come up with a way to make it a little less labor intensive.  I bought a small yard sprayer, only cost $6., then I filled it with Teak Oil and sprayed it on the wood. It went on very smoothly.  I had a rag and a small paintbrush along side me. If the oil puddled, I wiped it down, if the oil didn't get into the tight joints, I used the paintbrush and dabbed it in. Mission accomplished.

Want to come join me for a margarita?
