Happy St. Patrick's Day

By now you have all heard plenty about my Chicago excursion last year watching them dye the Chicago River green. You must include this in your "Bucket List" of things to do before you die. It is a phenomenal sight.

Although I have shown this photo a few times, I figured, when was celebrating St. Patrick's Day an underplayed holiday? So, folks, for the last time this year, you'll see me post about the gorgeous neon green Chicago River. (Besides, it's one of my favorite photos with the Wrigley Building in the background.)

Now go out, do some wearin' of the green and toss back an Irish coffee or Guinness. What if you're not Irish? Tell anyone who asks you are. After all, if Brad Pitt is a distant cousin of Barack Obama, anything is possible, right?

A dear long time friend (known her since kindergarten) wrote me this Irish toast. I think we should all memorize it and use it tonight when we toss one back.

May those who love us, love us And those who don't love us, May God turn their hearts And if he can't turn their hearts, May he turn their ankles So we will know them by their limping!
