Seeing the Sights in Rome

Off we go, on this wild adventure. We are both very excited to "Go, See, Do!" Day one armed with Advil for achy joints and bandaids on hand just incase a blister or two would surface, I'm ready! The Trevi Fountain was quite the sight. The sculptures were by Bernini in the 1500's and the water is said to be so clean, people could drink from it. The fountain was immortalized in the 1950's in the movie "Three Coins in the Fountain" which I saw a long time ago, but plan on renting again.
It is said that if you turn your back to the fountain, throw a coin from your right hand over your left shoulder, you are certain to come back to this "Everlasting City".
I made Ben do it too. Some people like to play the tourist more than others!

The Trevi Fountain is even more beautiful at night when you can see the water sparkle and the lighting shadows play across the incredible sculptures.

Sitting at the surrounding outdoor piazza cafes drinking some smooth Italian wine people watching isn't too shabby either!
