Cut Out Sugar Cookies

I made these cookies earlier and froze them. (See post of November 18th.) Today I thawed them out. What a joy it was to avoid this mess!
All I had to do was thaw out the dough and get on with the cookie rolling and baking. The cookie dough was perfect for rolling. I roll them out with powdered sugar, not flour, as it avoids that "floury" taste toward the end of the batch.
Decorate in any number of ways, ice them, sprinkle decorator sugar on them, make them as fancy or simple as you like.
Store in an airtight container to retain freshness.

By the way, the recipe on the November 18th post is one of the best ones I've ever tried. Oh, and it is easy! YEA!
