Spaghetti


I had the yummiest spaghetti the other day. It's fun to eat at someone else's home and see what they create. I had to come home and try to dulicate it.

Spaghetti Sauce
1 pound ground beef
2 hot sausages, Italian, Polish, whatever you have
--take out of the casing
1/2 medium onion
1 cup fresh mushrooms
5 cloves of garlic
1 carrot
1 jar premium spaghetti sauce
1 large can diced tomatoes
2 small cans of tomato paste

Brown the ground beef and sausage, breaking it as it cooks into small pieces. Remove from pan. Chop onion, garlic, mushrooms and carrot. Saute in the same pan as the ground beef. Add the meat mixture back into pan. Add spaghetti sauce, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Add seasonings as desired; salt, pepper, oregano, basil, etc. Simmer for atleat one hour.
