Toothbrushes As Cleaning Tools

Toothbrushes are not just for the teeth. They are great little cleaning devices for those hard to reach areas. I paint the handle with different color fingernail polish. I have a red for food only, for example.
Here are some uses:
1. Clean around crevices of sinks
2. Clean around edges of stovetop and the stove knobs.
3. After you let the stain fighter soak into clothing, brush the backside of the clothing to loosen the dirt further, then launder.
4. Clean hair brushes and combs.
5. Open the lid of your coffeemaker. Use solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Brush with a toothbrush as far down as you can reach to loosen mineral deposits.
6. Use a paste of Comet and water. Brush grout with a toothbrush to loosen dirt. Wipe up with soft, damp cloth.
7. Use as an impromptu nail brush.
8. Clean diamond jewelry with Crest toothpaste (paste not gel) and a toothbrush, they will sparkle. Do not clean pearls or opals this way, they are too fragile.
