Being in the "Laid Back" South

The stereotype of the south is a picture of rocking in the old rocking chair on the front porch chewing a long sliver of grass with an iced tea or mint julep on the side table. My experience this week has been one of mixed reviews on this picture. On one hand, people here are busy, industrious, and movers. On the other hand, you get people like this pick-up truck driver. He was driving for maybe 8 miles with his hands clasped behind his neck driving about 70. Yikes! I at least hope his eyes were open.
