Surviving The Recession

It's a recession when your neighbor loses his job, it's a depression when you lose yours. ---Harry Truman
As we become more disturbed by the economy, it is time to question what we measure our self worth by. Is it the BMW, the new house, the vacation to faraway lands?
Perhaps it's time to redefine our values and put our priorities in order. We can make it a personal challenge to find virtue out of living with just what we need.
It takes time to build new habits. They start, not with a "BANG", but with one change. Then repeat it. Then add another.
We know success will bring more success. Along with those successes comes optimism and happiness. We can be happy and optimistic with less. Start today with your own little experiment.
As Grandma used to say,
"Wear it out,
Use it up,
Make it do,
Or do without."
What a wise woman.
