The Fountain of Youth? Having had a form of cosmetic surgery for skin cancer, I vowed never to have elective surgery. It was a very traumatic experience for me. Facelifts are out of the question. However, I haven't ruled out less invasive forms of ways to look younger. Enter the machine above!
This is a laser skin machine. It wows us with claims of getting rid of unwanted body hair. Trust me when I say when the aesthetician explained where some of the body hair was she had removed, I waved my hands with the "too much information" flag. YIKES! I decided to try the laser to get rid of the large dark spots on my skin, also a claim of this wondrous gadget. My dark spots look as though they are huge amounts of freckles that have gotten together and had a big party. They are referred to as keritosis, sun spots, liver spots (as they are the color of liver, EEUUWW), but to you and me, we know, they are old age spots. D*mn, I'm too young for old age spots, so to the laser I go!
After 1 1/2 hours of being blasted by a laser, I now look worse than when I went in. She says this is normal-hope she is right! Within 5 days these brown spots will get darker, slough off and I'll be a newer, prettier version of my old self! I'll keep you posted.
