Chicago Is My Kind Of Town

Click on ">" on Playlist.

Ah, that ole' crooner Frankie Baby had it right! I can't wait to go back and see the sights and sounds of that great city. New York may be the City of the World, but Chicago is the quintessential All-American City with Wrigley Field, all of the fabulous museums, the Miracle Mile, Second City and more. I have so many favorites, I cannot even begin to write them all here.
I went to see the public art exhibit of the 300+ cows along the city streets a few years back. They were amazing; what creativity, what whimsy! I loved them all, but here are a few stunners.

Then there's the food! YUM! The pizza's the best! The hot dogs, Polish sausage, and my all-time favorite, Garrett's Popcorn. OMG! Makes my mouth water to think of it!
I am counting the "wake-ups" till I can go to Chicago again. For years I have wanted to watch them dye the Chicago River green for St. Patrick's Day. That's right, I'm joining the masses of Irish this year to observe the event. I'm sure you'll hear about the festivities. (Only 15 more wake-ups!)
