"Touch It Once"

Clean the Clutter from You Life.
Once you understand a life with less clutter, you will have some control it.
It took me years to find out the reason I wanted clutter out of my life was because I realized I function better with no distractions. Clutter distracts me, as it does most everyone.
It used to be thought that "A cluttered desk meant a productive person, someone that gets things done." That is no longer the case. Studies have now shown that people with clean desks have found to be more efficient and productive than those with cluttered desks.
A boss I had instituted a policy of "touch it once." Look at it, make a decision about it and move on. For example, if you need to write thank you note, do it now, don't continue to "think" about it, if you need to call a client, do it now, don't procrastinate, if you need to do the dishes, do them now, don't look at them and procrastinate, get it done by touching it once with your mind and/or your hands.
Make an effort this year to live in an organized state not a state of chaos.
To do that, before you go to bed, make a list of no more than 5 things to accomplish the next day. Before you know it, your life will be more organized and you'll have a more productive year.
