Fancy Nancy Tea Party

If you have a little girl in your life between the ages of 2 and 10, you've heard of "Fancy Nancy" books by Jane O'Connor. They are delightfully written books about little girls who love the glitz, glitter and fru-fru that goes along with being a little girl. They also have a moral in each book. I love these books as they go into little girls who like to have fun but are not the typical "I am a princess" or "It's all about me" theme.
When it came time for me to go play with Little Miss G and her Mommy I had to show them the world of Fancy Nancy. I planned a tea party, complete with a written invitation for Mom (white gloves optional). We planned on about a 15-30 minute party, with our tea, cookies, reading the "Fancy Nancy" book and had all of the stuffed animals and dolls in attendance. The tea party lasted for at least 2 hours, I don't know it was was still going strong when I had to leave for the airport. Daddy showed up and got in a little of the fun too. It was hysterical. Who had more fun, Little Miss G or me? You decide!
